Our local Target carries wooden painted blocks over in the baby aisles (right near the 3 packs of onesies). I have bought several pakcs ove rhte months and today they were on clearance and only one pack left at $3.99 for 8.
They are pretty pastels, chartreuse, periwinkle colored with painted numbers, insects and animals. they are marketed under "Tykes" a division of Carters. Pretty for decoration and play!!!
