I posted something similar on the Toddler Bargains site, but it is still pretty slow over there.

I'm starting to get together Hanukkah gifts for ds, who is almost 2 1/2, since our new baby is due 6 days before the holiday starts!

Was hoping to get feedback on some of these toys.

Brio Wooden Parking Garage (originally saw this in the Constructive Playthings
catalog but found it a little cheaper with no shipping on a site called
kindertrains.com)

Check Up Ernie by Fisher Price

Crawl-n-Play by PlayHut (and possibly one of the tunnels, maybe the funnel tunnel or
the wiggly worm tunnel)

Magna Doodle "Learning Bus"

Wooden Play Sink and Stove by Small World Toys (plus some little play food items
and pots and pans--this would be the really big gift this year)

Any thoughts on any of these (quality-wise, fun for toddler, etc.?)

**Oh--and thought of something else--I'd like to get ds a baby doll of his own for when the baby comes. Yes, a doll for a boy. I'm not gender-biased. I think it could help with his adjustment. I looked on the Oppenheim Toy Portfolio, and they liked the dolls by Zapf Creations (life-like dolls: one, the Baby Born, touts 7 noises/bodily functions. I'm not sure how I feel about this. The other, the Chou Chou, is newborn-like in length/weight and feel). Has anyone purchased or seen one of these dolls? Do you think either would be a good choice?

Thanks,
Lisa
