I got these MAM brand pacifiers that come in their own plastic snap together holder--so handy for the diaper bag. However, I thought as long as I was putting the pacifier in the sterilizer (I have the plug in Especially for Baby one) I would put the holder in too. It melted!! Fortunately, no damage done to anything else. But I thought I'd pass this along...
