WE want to get DS a push toy for Christmas. I was considering the Parents toy at Target but is this one the best????

Doesn't radio flyer have a cute one?

I don't mind spending more $$ as this will be his "big" Christmas present.

I really like the little push car that is on the huggies commercial but have never seen it sold anywhere.

One thing to consider is that we have both wood floors and carpet in our home.

Any recommendations? TIA!!!

I don't know if the Parents push toy is the best (it looks really nice :)), but I do know that Radio Flyer has some cute ones. They have adjustments on the wheels which can contol the speed which may be good for the hardwood floors.

I read in an earlier thread that the Huggies car is not commercially available.

We just got our 13 mo dd the radio flyer classic #12 wagon and it is great! She can sit in it for a ride it is so sturdy. It also does great on out tile and hardwood floors and also goes over the carpet effortlessly too. I highly recommend it. The cheapest I found it for is at www.wagondepot.com

We got dd this (well the girls version in pink and lt blue) when she was 7mo...

I liked it because it is not just a push toy. Dd was crawling at 6mo...walking assisted (with us or push toy) by 8 mo and walking unassisted by 9.5mo. She would push her LT rideon for more than an hour up and down our side walk. We also had it indoors on carpet and in the kitchen.

Dd turned 2yo in July and STILL uses her LT ride on. We have had it for 1.5 years now...which for a small child's toy is priceless :-)

We also had the little tikes one, push and ride doll walker? something like that, forgot already lol ;)

We even used this one for ds, ok wrong color but...he didn't care, why we liked it was the fact it was steady, and had various uses not just a walker...

I'm sure now their are even more choices but this was one we liked and worked well. :)

I recommend the Parents Around the Block Walker. Check out my review at http://www.windsorpeak.com/dc/dcboard.php?az=show_topic&forum=12&topic_id=10062&mesg_id=10062&page=
