Josh's favorite new occupation is playing with our fridge magnets, and I'd like to get him some that are a little more age-appropriate than my Dilbert & Harry Potter. Ideally, I'd like the alphabet.

The problem is every magnet set I find is for 3 and up! The magnetic parts are choking hazards, I guess. Has anyone seen any magnets at all that are okay for a 9 month old?

TIA!

My dd also loves to play with our fridge magnets. My mom got these from abc and she loves them. I think they would be great for a 9 mo old also.

I bought some at TJ Maxx that are wooden with a magnetic backing that covers the entire piece opposed to just a little circle. Target also has some with their wooden toys. Nick has been playing with them since he was about 9 months with no problems. Oh, and they are alphabet.
