View Full Version : What's a good booster chair for a 16 month old?

My DD is 16 months old and is starting to want to sit in big people chairs like me and DH do. She is obviously too small to just sit in the chair plus it doesn't seem very safe either. I thought maybe it's time to get one of those high chair type things that straps on to your regular chair. Does anyone have a recommendation on which one is best or which one to stay away from?

Thanks,

I have the Safety First Fold-Up booster and it worked very well for us. But DD has been sitting in a regular chair at the table since she was about 20 months.

Can your daughter reach the regular table while eating with no booster? I was thinking that I would feel better about her being strapped into a booster seat. Recently she has learned how to escape from her high chair and tries to get out of it on a regular basis.

I think it depends on your chair and your table, but DD has done just fine in a regular chair.
