Don't go wasting $$$ on the TummyTub http://www.domovital.com/_en/index.html

I got this tub/bucket at Crate and Barrel (outlet) for $5 and it works great. After i have bathed Leela in a EuroTub knock-off..i put her in this bucket... she LOVES to soak in it (though in this particular picture she looks very unhappy). And she smells especially yummy because i put in a spoon of Baby Bee Buttermilk Bath.
Note: You HAVE to monitor the baby at all times when in any kind of bath tub.

Rashmi, thanks for posting that - I always kinda thought that the tummy tub was just a glorified ($$$expensive$$$) bucket, and you just confirmed this for me!

This looks like it would be great for a baby who has good head control but can't quite sit up yet since the bucket keeps them pretty upright. But it would still be hard to get to all the tiny parts if you were using it as your only tub, I think.

Lori... i give Leela her real bath (soap, shampoo, rinse) in the eurotub knockoff that i have and THEN transfer her into the bucket so she can soak for a while. That way she is already clean. Does that make sense?
But it would be very hard if it were your only tub.

ETA: The tummy tub is still a better tub than this one IMO because it has a narrower base... so the baby is wedged in there IYKWIM. Here is a pic of the TT so you can see what i mean

OMG! What an adorable photo. Makes me want to buy one of these buckets just to take a pic of Dylan in it. SOOOO cute.

Although I'm guessing that at around 18 lbs my little munchkin would probably not fit so well! Ah well, next baby...

Thanks for sharing the photo, Rashmi!
