View Full Version : Suggestions for a big, squishy stuffed animal?

DD loves her stuffed animals, and DH and I want to get her a big cuddly one for her birthday (not one of the big more formed ones that you can't climb all over and squish). Something like one of the big Patrick the Puppy dogs that FAO used to have - the type of animal isn't as important as it being something big (bigger than her probably) and fun to climb over and snuggle into. She would only have access to it when we are with her so it wouldn't be a safety problem.

Any suggestions appreciated! Thanks.

Babystyle.com used to have s big cuddly stuffed puppy, I'd check there.

I was at Toys R Us yesterday and they had a HUGE stuffed dog that Jack went nuts over. It was super soft and really floppy and just the kind of thing you'd want to jump into and curl up. It was at least twice as big as Jack (and he weighs more than 30 pounds and is pretty tall). I considered spending the $50 for it, but it was pink and although I'm not super concerned about boy/girl colors, it just seemed silly and would have looked weird in his room. If I find one in another color I might get it.

DS loves the little lamb he has. HHe also has a bigger bear. Not sure if they make really big ones but I think I've seen them around.

Here is a pic of DS at the library. They have a bear that all the children love. Were you thinking something this big? If so, I'll see if I can find out where it came from.

They have some nice big soft ones at Costco- mostly Easter-type of animals like bunnies, etc. I think they were around $20!

Wow! Maybe not quite THAT big. I'm not sure where we'd put it! How fun for DS to visit at the library though.
