Is anyone else's child obsessed with basketball? DH was trying to get ready for March Madness, but I think DS went overboard. Everything is all about basketball now. He has a Leapfrog Learning Hoops toy that he likes, but the hoop is very low and small. His new game is throwing a junior basketball into the small Learning Hoops hoop until it falls off and Mommy replaces it. I'm looking for a larger hoop. What's good?

What do you think about the LT Easy Score Basketball Set? http://tinyurl.com/yphe9

Is the FP Grow to Pro Basketball too advanced for an 18-month-old?

My nephew has the Grow to Pro hoop. I think it would be way to big for an 18 month old, but it is a nice hoop for the future. You could always buy it and if it doesn't work just store it for later use.

We have the little tikes one, we've had it years despite the fact we put up a "real" one last year the LT model still got use, it adjusts easily enough & isn't huge and is fairly simple to move about...you will need sand or water in the base tho but otherwise..ours was a good purchase.

We got Kathleen the Little Tikes one for her 2nd birthday and she LOVES it! Still plays with it and I love how adjustable it is. We have it in our basement, but no water or sand in the base (I don't think you really need them if you keep it in your house). In fact, whenever my brother comes over, he plays with it constantly, and I catch DH dunking on it too. :) Great purchase!

We also have the LT and my DS and DH use it all the time! We have it in the livingroom and the base is not filled. DS can tip it but its light weight so not a problem right now - its not like he's slam-dunking. He is 14 months and we still have it on the lowest setting so I imagine he will be using this for a while.
