I was looking through old posts about wagons. I came across the one where you were trying to pick out the color for a very cool wagon. Did you end up getting one? If you did I would love to hear about it.

We did not....YET!!!! But we are going to get it. I really can nt decide on color, but I have the go ahead from DH to get it, we do know by July 4th we will get it since that is the July 4th parade thru the neighborhood and I am organizing it so we might load a dog or two :)...

I without a doubt think it is a great one...
I'd love to do a co-op of it if others would be interested but I know it is costly...

Well, if I had to pick this second it would be the red. I am going to order one tonight, it will be red or natural (I think). I will also order the cushions, and maybe the cup holder and storage under the wagon. To many choices.

I pulled a radio flyer with "fake wheels" to the library today. I just can't do it again and my DS loves the wagon. So I promised myself I would order today.

I will have this wagon forever.

We had one something like this one when I was little and my Mom still has it. She uses it to bring her groceries from the garage to the house, to bring out the garbage, for gardening, brush removal...

As for uses now:
Walks to town
Parades
Outdoor concerts
Zoo
Amusement Park

Can you tell I have been trying to justify the purchase...

The main reason for me is that my DS is 4, almost 5 and is to big for the double stroller. He gets upset when we go out and his little sister is riding in a stroller and his is not. So I am hoping the wagon will stop some of these problems.

I was also thinking of a buggy board but have yet to figure that one out.

at what age could a person safely start using one for their little one?

That is a good question. I think it depends on yur kid. I would trust my 1 year old not to jump ship more then my 4 year old. I did notice that the site that Neve posted has a harness.

Here's another excuse, The Pumpkin Patch! *lol*

When I took Nolan to a pumpkin patch last fall in rural AZ, there were wagons all over! ;)

We have a less expensive wagon, but a nice all terrain one with the removable wooden sides & I can tell you that I use it as much for me as I do for Nolan. I have used it to cart my pool chemicals to the backyard, carry yard debris (bagged) & for groceries. Baby in one arm & the wagon handle in the other. Nolan gets quite a kick out of his wagon & he is only 7 mos.

Neve, The red is classic, but I think my original choice was the black or blue.

I did it. I ordered the natural colored classic wagon. To satisfy my desire for red I opted for the red pad. I can't wait to try it out.

Thanks for posting the original link Neve!

You are so welcome...please keep us posted...
who did you order from, my gut feeling is to go with the natural too and it can always be dressed up...

I ordered from Exploring with Kids. I ordered before I saw your post about matching prices.
