We have this little kid's-sized stepstool from IKEA and DS has lots of fun climbing it and standing up while holding onto it (he can't stand up completely with it because it is short, he just kind of practices with it). It is about 5" high, and it is blue and green. Has rubber on the bottom to keep it from skidding and little rubber circles all over the top, to keep you from sliding when standing on it. He has now started standing on it and trying to reach things like the stereo, if I leave it close enough to something he can pull up on.
I tried to find a picture of it on IKEA's website, but couldn't find it. It cost a few dollars - I don't remember how much - but has been a great deal for the entertainment it provides him! (I can scan an image from the catalog and post it if anyone is interested)
