Had to share a cute toy moment

DS is now 9 months old and has had the Leapfrog "Learning Hoops" basketball setup since christmas. He never really got the concept that you put the ball in the basket to make the noise - he just figured out it was the little switch inside the basket that did it. Well today I actually WATCHED HIM PUT THE BALL IN THE BASKET! The cutest thing afterwards is that after he did, the voice said "1" - He clapped! and then he put the ball in the basket, the voice said "2" - he clapped again. He kept this all the way up through 10. He didn't know I was watching him but I guess all those times that I had been showing him numerous times before then clapping afterwards - it must have clicked, he was mimicking me. It was soooo cute to watch!!!

So, there's my proud mamma post for the day. :)

Deidra, That is so sweet! I sneak up on Nolan all of the time to watch him play. They are so fun to observe, aren't they? :D

Ooooh, that is exciting. I have been practicing clapping with Ryan and I know one of these days he will get it.

I love that he did it after putting the ball in the basket. Too cute!! :)
