I was seriuously considering it, but then the BabyUniverse special got me. It's not the colors I wanted but I just broke down and ordered the rasberry. I was leary about the kettler, though cheaper than stokke, it was still a lot of money to "try" and see if I liked the seat, kwim? I figure that the kinderzeat has many great reviews and I'd rather be safe. I think the kettler looks great and you'd probably be very happy with it, but I was too chicken to take the risk. GL and give us a review if you get one.

That's exactly how I feel...I think the Kinderzeat is totally worry free the reviews have been so grand!!!!!

I might be the guinea pig here....I think I might try it :)...
I'll keep everyone posted...granted I've never seen a kinderzeat in person to compare it with...
I'm leaning towards the tipp topp which is evidently thier top of the line more "industrial one" ...

DO you have a link to that one? I cannot remember which one is which? But if you do order and give a good review I may end up wanting one for my son. Right now I am planning on the kinderzeat being for my 3 year old daughter-so she can quit squirming at the table, but depending on how much she/we like it I will wnat something similar for my 1 year old son. And I think that the price difference would help with dh-he already thinks the one kinderzeat is too $$$ and I don't know if he'd go for another. That is unless he falls in love with it. He did that with the Britax carseats-now he never says a thing about their price and we actually own 7 Britax seats now! Well we ahvee 4 in carseats so that's why.

Neve,

You may want to look for reviews for the Simo Viking High Chair (also try Booster Seat). Here's a link:

http://www.mybabystroller.com/accessories/viking_high_chair.htm

I don't know if Kettle bought the company or came up with a similar design, but it looks to be essentially the same chair as the Tipp Topp.

I haven't found a ton of reviews for the Simo chair, but the ones I did find were favorable. Worth a look...

Thanks for the link. Does the kettler go up to the table very well? It almost looks as if the child would hav eto lean over to eat at the table-maybe the picture just makes it look that way. It just seems more straight up and down than I would think I'd want. The other thing to consider-might be good or bad-is the weight. It says it weighs like 26 lbs. That seems pretty heavy to me-I know we move our highchair sometime with the kid in it, so I wonder how the heavier weight would affect moving it around. Just something to think about. But the tray is a nice added feature and their cushions are much cuter!

Sarah,
I think you are right...for I know SIMO has a playpen and Kettler does too....that makes me feel better about the gamble that is for certain!
Thank you,
