Hi,
I read some of the older postings here re: theis highchair from when it first came out. I would love to hear some feedback on how those of you with this highchair like it. We got one as a gift...it has not been opened yet. We are trying to decide if we should return it (& get either the regular Healthy Care, or maybe a Babytrend)...or keep it.
TIA :-)

Well, I've had my Linkadoos high chair for all of 4 days with my 2 year old, so my experience is limited, but so far I am very happy with it. It replaced a chair that was driving me crazy! The Linkadoos has a bunch of features that I don't anticipate using, but it also had some features that are really important to me.
We won't be using the toys. At our house, the high chair is only for eating (and watching an occassional episode of Sesame Street) so I'm saving the toys for my next baby to play with somewhere besides the highchair.
I've also taken off the pillow. It's just one more thing to get dirty in my opinion.
I thought I'd really like having the 3 dishwasher trays, but so far they've been more of a pain than a convenience. They take up a bunch of space in the dishwasher and there's nowhere to store the trays when they're not in use. One tray would have been fine.
I LOVE the cover that is both machine washable and wipeable. That was the selling point for me. Our last cover was just wipeable and such a pain to clean! I never realized a high chair could get so dirty!
I like the wheels. I realized that I'd been scooting my old chair all over the house which worked OK, but wheels make it easier.
I expect to like the little baby food holder on the side when I'm feeding baby #2 jarred food. I remember wishing for something like that with DS. I plan to use the toy holder to hold bibs or something like that.
I like the fact that the chair fits my DS. He's sat in a friend's Papa Prima on a couple of occassions and it was way too big on him.
The selling point for my DH was that the chair folds up nicely for storage. (I honestly don't expect to use this feature much since we use the chair 5x a day, but we'll see.)
Overall, if I could have gotten the FP deluxe highchair for the same price that I got the Linkadoos, I would have gotten it instead, but the Linkadoos was on clearance for cheaper, so it's the one I bought.
