we got our kinderzeat - now some questions

so far she is okay in it , but i find things are much messier. do you normally put down a plastic place mat when using? the fabric ones are way too messy (at least the ones we have) because the food gets ground into them. plus i'm used to the food being mostly contained within the high chair tray, aside from the stuff she throws.

any suggestions for an easy transition to the kinderzeat?

Place mats just get thrown on the floor around here! Colin actually started liking toddler sized plates and bowls at about 15 months, though he still makes a mess every now and then. Now that he's pretty good with dishes, not having a tray isn't too big of a deal. If the Kinderzeat is too much of a mess for now, then you could still use the high chair for messier meals. It all depends on why you are switching over!
