Has anybody bought this yet? Do you and your baby like it? Where can you get this at the best price?

TIA!

Hi,
I am a WAHM and I need every bit of help I can get, so I started making calls yesterday morning to see who had it. BRU and BBB both had no idea what I was talking about. One girl actually told me that "it was just released today, no one has it yet, it will be a few weeks before it gets in the stores".
Anyway, I went on my weekly BJ's run and believe it or not they had it there for $13.99! (DVD)
DD was in a bit of a mood yesterday, and she wasn't in love right away, but we will see today.

I saw a TV ad today for Walmart saying that they have it.

I bought other Baby Einsteins there for $14.44.

I bought it at Target for $14.99 yesterday and we watched it last night. My 15 month old son likes it. He did a lot of pointing at it and was pretty mesmerized. It has segments that focus on different body parts - eyes, ears, mouth, face, feet, hands, etc.

We'll probably pick it up this weekend. Sam's Club is my usual source for Baby Einstein - we don't have Costco or BJ's nearby.

Also got it at Target for 14.99. DD loves it, plus there is a $2 off coupon for your next BE purchase!

Costco has a set of 15 DVDs including the DaVinci for $150.00. I bought one today because I only have Baby Bach and Mozart and at $10 per DVD this was a great price. My cousin is pregnant so I plan to just take the two duplicates and give them to her. I'm not sure that this helps since you probably only want the one DVD.

Yes, I checked Costco yesterday and they don't have the singles, but the set. However, online for Costco, you acan get it cheaper--it;s $35 off. That is cheap - $115 for all of those DVD's!!

I was at BRU purchasing a shower gift for this weekend and I picked up the DVD which cost $17.99. Not the best price but I really didn't want to run around just to save a few dollars.

C watched maybe a whole 30 seconds and then wondered off disinterested. I was even acting like a goofball trying to imitate the stupid head-shoulders song. Maybe he's too young but I couldn't help but feel what a waste.

You can find some on Ebay for good prices too. They have foreign lang sets for cheap... can't vouch for them, but US versions also sell for less than store prices.

I do think it's better suited to older babies/toddlers. I don't think Nicholas would have liked it as much 3 months ago. In the last month he's really into things about real life - water, cars, etc.

There are a lot of videos that we tried when he was younger and he was totally disinterested. We tried them again when he was older and he loves them.
