...but if anyone can help me out fast, I need to know whether to get a warm mist or a cool mist humidifier...mostly for a chronically stuffy nose.

Problems with mould and mildew with warm-mist humidifiers. Do a search in here (or do the whole set of baby forums) for humidifiers and you'll come up with a ton of info.

I've been using the Vapor-Eze (BabyAge and BabyCenter both have them) with success. But I use it to deliver essential oils, not moisture.
