We tried out the Eurobath and i really like the size and shape of it, and that it has a drain, but we hate the raised plastic part in the middle. we were bathing DD in our huge kitchen sink with a sponge in the bottom of the sink, so i could recline her back to rinse the soap out of her hair. we recently moved and have a double sink she doesn't fit in (she's tall!). i can't recline her in the eurobath with that crazy raised stuff in the middle and DD hates it when i dump water on her head! also it's tough to bath the nether regions when she's sitting on them! anyone know where we could find something huge like eurobath with a drain but without the raised parts ?

TIA!!

Once my son started sitting up and trying to crawl out of the Eurotub I sold it and got an inflatable duck tub to just put in the big bathtub. My son loves it since the duck quacks and it's all inflatable (even the bottom) so he can't get hurt and it has a drain on the bottom. It was about $12 at Target.

thanks for your reply! we tried that one and it's too just too small. DD is tall--plus no room to recline back for the hair rinse. she liked the quack when it was in the box but couldn't quack when she was in it since the beak was too far to reach.

thanks though! very cute pic of your wee one!!

I saw this highly rated one at Babycenter, but I don't think it has a drain.

Do you still have the Eurobath? And have you tried using it with DD on the infant side for washing? I just ask b/c DS is older than your DD and off-the-charts tall and he still does great in the Eurobath. I just have him sit in the infant side, rather than toddler side, so when it is time to rinse, he just leans back and lays down like he did when he was an infant. This also works well for the washing of the "nether regions" ;) It works so easily that I will be traumatized when he finally outgrows it.

If that doesn't work, I'm sorry. Good luck in your quest.

We have this tub by Evenflo and it worked out great until DD outgrew it at 16mo. We basically just set it on top of a counter and bathe her that way. When bathtime is all done, we just drain the water, or you could drain the water while bathing her.

Now that she's almost 2 and we bathe her in a mini-tub in the bathtub, instead of the counter. It's so much easier cleaning the mini bathtub than the real tub.

Thanks for the suggestion. What is a mini-tub? do you have a brand/photo/link??

we do still have it; we are still using it every night (with me dumping water over her head)! i did try it with DD on the infant side the very first time we did it and it seemed awkward, but i was thinking before i posted here that i should try the infant side again and see if it would be any better. thanks for the suggestion--i'll let you know how it goes!

i saw this one but wasn't sure if it would be any bigger than the duck tub. maybe it would seem bigger without the big duck head coming up! thanks for the suggestion. we might give it a try.
