But since I missed the coop, where should I buy one, and what is the best model for a one year old?
I am sure that this question has been answered before, but in my searches I have not found the answers and time is a ticking!
Thanks guys,

Some bike stores carry Kettler trikes, and there are also online retailers, but I've not used them. We bought ours at TRU and it was a Kiddio Supertrike 4. We love it! It was slightly cheaper than the regular Kettlers, but made by them as well. I don't think you can go wrong as long as you either buy from a reputable local bike store, TRU or find somewhere online that someone can recommend.

We bought ours through the One Step Ahead website. It seems like it has all of the "extras" (dump back, seatbelt), but since it's a special model for this company, it's a little cheaper than the regular Kettlers. It doesn't have an s-frame, though. There's some coupon codes floating around for 10% off of orders of $50 or more, do a search. And order through u-promise!

I like to price shop through Google.com's FROOGLE. See above link.

If you can find a site that has free shipping or online coupon, that would be great.

I bought a Kettler Jumbo for my DS with push bar (must have :-)), seat belt, foot rest and bell. He started to sit/ride on it while I push when he was 10 months old. I like the jumbo b/c it is a good one for him to grow into. The price you get through the co-op is really good, but hopefully you can find a pretty good deal on-line or maybe even at a local specialty store. In Minneapolis I saw that Creative Kid Stuff sold Kettlers. Do you have a Creative Kid Stuff near you or some other specialy kid toy store?

You can also go to the Kettler home page and find a store near you that sells them (saves on shipping??). http://www.kettlerusa.com/page32.html You can also view and compare the Kettlers out there and maybe you will find something you like.

Good luck -- You will LOVE your Kettler (and so will your child ;-) )

I am ordering a Happy from mytoybox.com for $120. I don't know if it's the best; it's just the one I like & this particular one was not available during the last co-op. I like the look of the seat better than on the Jumbo. JMO.
