I wasn't sure where to post this, if I should revive an old thread or just start a new one...
Anyway, I was at TRU this weekend and saw the RF Ultimate Family Trike and asked the sales person how it compared with Kettler, since I had read so many negative things. Guess what he told me? He told me Kettler makes the Radio Flyers.
Any thoughts?
Can anyone confirm that this is true? I am still debating over which kettler if RF is not a good choice.

I obviously have no idea but that doesn't sound right to me. I sometimes think the workers at TRU have no idea what they're talking about. FWIW, the Radio Flyer trike has really bad reviews on amazon. I was all set to buy one until I read the reviews.

Well, it didn't sound right to me either. It has gotten some rotten reviews and when the guy (who really did seem to know what he was talking about) said that Kettler made the RF ones, I was surprised to say the least. That is why I posted here, to see if it's true or not. Did you buy a kettler? If so, which one?

I also don't know but a quick call to Kettler would answer it. If or one doubt it since Radio Flyer use to be manufactured in the States and recently was sent to China...Kettler is a German product. So it does not make sense...

Doubt that the guy who told you that knew what he was talking about. Maybe he was confused about another brand or something. I bought a combi (discontinued) and then a Jumbo through the last co-op. Both are great. I got the s-frame because I wanted the option of adding a tandem seat later on.

Here is the response I got from Kettler:

Thank you for your e-mail. KETTLERĀ® tricycles are manufactured in KETTLER factories in Germany. We design and manufacture our products in facilities that are owned by KETTLER companies. As far as we know, Radio Flyer tricycles are manufactured in China. Please view our site for our full selection of our products www.kettlerusa.com.

I guess it did seem too good to be true...
