Just saw some at the local T.M. store in Northern CA. They had the musini, music blocks, music block composer, sunshine symphony and the babbler. All of these were $14.99, which except for the sunshine symphony, is cheaper than amazon.com.

I am looking for Neurosmith toys. I'd like to call the store and see if they would ship them. Can you PM me the store location info.? I live in OR and we don't have a Tuesday Morning nearby.

Edited--Nevermind, I found a store locator tool on the website and there is one 30 miles away.

Thanks,
Mary

Hi Christina! Thanks for the heads up... I loved the "Mamas & Papas" neurosmiths and am going to go check these out tomorrow-- you didn't happen to be in the Berkeley store, were you? :) Thanks again!

I went to the Sacramento store. You might want to call ahead too. I was told there are different selections in different stores.

Would you mind telling me what you like about these toys in particular and which ones work well for which age (DD is 18 mos.)? I saw them at TM yesterday and walked around with one in my cart, but I just couldn't pull the trigger to buy because I didn't know if it would really get a lot of use or be more clutter. Also, didn't they go out of business and you can't get the "cartridges" any more or something (or am I confused)?

Thank you for answering my random questions.

they all come with a cartridge, so you don't need to buy anything else unless you want variety in the music. Yes, they went out of business, but you can find good deals on the cartridges too.

We have:
The Babbler - this was good from birth. I'll let you know in about 10 years whether it worked or not. :)

Musini - Logan likes this now even though she is not old enough for it. She dances around to the music and doesn't know or care if it is making the "you did it right" sound or the "try again" sound

Jumbo Music Block - this doesn't get too much play, probably because it is too big to have out all the time

Music Blocks Composer - she likes to play with the blocks and make music, she likes the Musini better, but I like this one better

For the price of $14.99 these are great toys. I'd snatch up every one you can.

I would love to get the Musini for Jackson. We have the Music Bolcks Composer and he really likes it. I think it is fun to play with as well. Right now Jackson loves to dance so I think the Musini would be perfect! I might have to try to find one.

We have the Musini and Kathleen loves it--mainly because she is a dancing fool. She LOVES to dance.

We also have the music blocks, which are a favorite around here. She's been playing with this toy for 2 years and still plays with it. We have 5 or 6 cartridges and any time I see ones I don't have, I snap them up.

Ellen received the Sunshine Symphony for Christmas last year and while she likes it, it's not a favorite.

I love Neurosmith toys--$14.99 for each of these is a tremendous deal IMO.

I noticed that Amazon has the Musini for $9.99, which is cheaper than Tuesday Morning. You might find one at Toys R Us. Target also had the Neurosmith on clearance awhile back and you might be able to find it on their clearance rack (usually an endcap at the back of the toy aisles)

My DD loves the Together Tunes. A huge soft block, she loves to pull herself up and stand and dance. A big hit. I don't know if TM has this or not. I'll check out the one near my hosue in Santa Monica.

RS is clearancing some toys (aren't they always?) and I saw they ahve the musini composer w. the magic wand (I guess it's seperate?) for 19.99... DS is too young otherwise I would have picked it up. I've been to 2 RS's in the past few days and both had different neurosmiths on clearance.

Also, Ross has the music block and alphabet ball (?) something like that for 14.99 as well, if you don't have a TM. :)
