This Kettler business is going to drive me to drink! I mean, it's a tricycle!
At this point DH and I are stuck between the Happy and the Air Happy. The one drawback that we have come up with is that it seems that the Happy is being discontinued. Does anyone think that matters? How much of a difference do the air tires really make? I mean, I had a big wheel and it had plastic tires!!!
I don't like the seat on the Brummi or Jumbo. I think the S frame is great, but the Air models don't have that.
This makes stroller shopping seem like a breeze.
Any advice?
Thanks,

ETA: This funny story... My husband thought I was insane because every night after dinner I would read every post about Kettlers and try to figure out what we wanted. I keep saying things out loud like, "the brummi comes with a pushbar..."
Needless to say, I was becoming obsessed. After going to see a few IRL at a local bike shop, I asked DH to come with me to make the final decision. He was unable to do so. We went home with no decision. The next morning, we woke up and he said, "Do you know what I dreamed about last night? Kettlers. I want to see an Air Happy in person."

Good Stuff...

I went with the regular Happy because of the S frame. It just looked easier for Logan to get in and out of the seat, especially since we got it when she was 12 months old.

I didn't think we needed the air tires for any reason. I read reviews that said the regular tires will go on grass etc. So I based my choice on the frame.

We have an Air Happy and love it. We have sidewalks on the main streets of our neighborhood but not the side ones so the air tires come in handy. DS tends to ride his everywhere...

We have the Air Happy and DD has ridden it practically every day since she was 11 months old. I really like the air tires, we go for a lot of walks off pavement in the park etc on grass, gravel roads, easy trails and it does really well. Also we've never had to pump them or anything so I wouldn't worry about maintenance. I guess if you are only going on flat pavement it might not be worth the expense, but we barely use our stroller and go everywhere by trike now.

By the way do you know why they are discontinuing Happy?
