Playtex Ventair bottles help

My wife and I just had our first and received serveral varieties of bottles. The playtex ventair seem to flow really bad for us. Is there a way to open up the nipple or change it for another brand of nipple???? Help.

I don't know as I didn't use bottles, but you might get more replies if you post your question in the "Feeding Baby" forum.
