Inflatable Bath tub

Hi there -

How do you guys clean out your inflatable bath tubs? What kind of cleaning products do you use on it?

I just used a wash cloth and some of the same J&J soap I use to wash DD. I figured that was safer to use than some harsh cleaner.

I do the same. Just make sure it dries completely between uses & I would think you wouldn't need to do more than that. We've been using ours for several months & haven't had a problem doing it this way. :)

Hmmmm...you're supposed to clean them out? :) I just rinse mine with water and hang it to dry after each use.

That's what we do, too. The only time I have ever really cleaned it was the one time DD had a #2 accident in it. ;)

I just bought the kind they have at BRU. It came in a little box. We're very happy with it.

Ooohhhh yea.... I forgot we had that situation once too and I used a scrubbing bubbles type bathroom cleaner on it to disinfect!

Do you happen to know what brand it is? I picked up one at Target (after going there b/c my friend told me about an inflatable tub), but the only one I saw is by Munchkin. Its in the shape of a big yellow duck and its called the Baby safe tub. Is this the one you have?

I kinda like the One Step Ahead One the previous post recommended.

We used the snug tub and cleaned it with Clorox Wipes about once every other week. (They are child safe). But I didn't bathe DS until several hours later.

We've got the duck one. We had a Blue's Clues but it died. I like the duck one better because "Blue" took up a lot of room.

I feel like the duck one takes up a lot of room also. I was hoping to take a shower in the same tub while ds is bathing.
