I bought a plastic Step 2 toy oven at a thrift store last week. The brown plastic window on the oven door was cracked in half so I was thinking I would pass but for $2.25, I decided, why not? I figured that if Step 2 couldn't or wouldn't replace the plastic window (since it is probably an older model,) I could just put tape on it. My kids probably wouldn't care.
I called Step 2 that afternoon and they figured out which model it was and said they would send me out a new plastic window at no charge, no questions asked. I got it a couple of days ago and my DH replaced the broken one and voila, my oven looks like new.
I just love a good bargain!
