sony monitor (27channel) vs 1st years everywhere monitor

I've just started registering for things and we are expecting our 1st child - so this is all new to us.

I just wondered what people thought about both these monitors. I like the fact that they are both water resisitant and 900MHz. Our phones are 2.4 so there shouldn't be any interferences & they cost the same $.

If you do a search several people gave good reviews on the Sony Monitor including myself - just a few days ago. I like the "voice off/on" feature so you don't have to listen to static & like that it has so many channels to switch to.

Thanks! I did look back & read some of the other reviews and have decided to go with the Sony as well.
