Edited to add: This just went to free shipping at toyrus.com ($21.99)!!! The Fisher Price store version has hay, a fence, lights up, and plays "Away in a Manager" but it is $37 shipped.

Looked at the other Little People holiday sets and they all have free shipping!

Does anyone know if the Little People Nativity set will be available in stores or if it is something you have to order online.

I'm not sure if you can get this one in stores but I believe the one from Fisher Price is a catalog exclusive item. I was going to get the one from Amazon but noticed that it was slightly different from the one on the fisher price website and not much of a price difference. The one directly from fisher price comes in a prettier box if that matters, it plays music and has a lighted star, and also has fencing with it. Here is the link to the one from fisherprice.com

Last year I found it at Target... but I was dumb and didn't buy it. This year I'm going to look again at Target, but otherwise I'm ordering from ToysRUs if they don't.

I just ordered mine from toysrus.com on Friday so that I could take advantage of the free shipping. I know it's a little different from the one at The Fisher Price store but I'd rather save the money and buy the Noah's Ark, too.
