American Baby Magazine Product Survey

My friend in another state told me she saw a survey of the best baby products in the October Issue of American Baby Magazine. Over 1,000 women were surveyed. I have looked everywhere for this magazine, but I can't find it! Has anyone seen it? I've looked at Walgreens, CVS, Borders and Barnes & Noble. Whew!

My local Toys R Us also has them for free. I think I picked up the October issue there a week or two ago.

Our BRU has them at checkout.. you can also sign up for free on their website.

I wasn't that impressed with the survey.. when I took it, the options weren't that great. For things like "Best Swing" they only gave you four choices. There were things listed that I thought were completely useless. I always get the feeling with those types of surveys that it's more about the advertising than what the moms say.

I was at Barnes and Noble this weekend, and they had a whole pile for free in the children's section. I have to agree with the PP who said that those surveys are usually not that impressive and seem more like advertisements for the products than anything else. They're fun to look at but I wouldn't base my purchasing decisions solely on those lists. I would certainly do other research like searching on these boards!
