Since I have noticed a lot of train talk lately, I thought I would pass along a bargain price. Toys R Us is clearing out the white train table with the 4 bins underneath for $49.98. I know this is crazy, but since my son's train collection has gotten out of hand, we bought a second table and are going to put them side by side and have a bridge connect them. I sure hope his love for trains last a few more years!

Thanks for the tip! WE have no room to set one up now, but I might have to check it out for the basement. We have to finish it to move the office down there to make way for the new baby's bedroom, so we'd have room down there! Thanks!

Do you know what brand this is? I'd like to see it online before I make the trek to TRU

It is made by Imaginarium (TRU educational toy brand), but inside the box it says, Battat.

This table has been replaced by a natural color train table. I did find a picture of it on the follwoing site.

Our Battat train table is very nice - very solid and sturdy. I highly recommend the brand!

This is the train table we have, and it is great! What a good deal too, we got ours on sale last year for $70.

I checked my local TRU, and it was still priced 79.99 (reduced from 99.99). It was the white one.

If you can find an online ad for the $49 price, print it out and bring it to TRU. They'll honor the price.

LIsa, what train set did you buy with it? I am thinking about picking this table up today, but I heard that a lot of the standard trainsets don't fit on it. Do you have any problems with tracks fitting? Thanks!

Ack! Is this true? DH is getting ready to assemble it. :(

Well, even though I read numerous complaints of people saying certain tracks don't fit (see amazon.com reviews of this table) - I just bought the table this morning. The reviews were still great for the table but a lot of people noted that Thomas sets were too big for the table. The table is about 1-2 inches shorter than the Thomas table from what I have read. I think the Imaginarium set will fit fine.

We have a mish-mash of train tracks. We got the big train set from Target last year (the wood set in the box) and have picked up a small Thomas set and some other no name tracks pieces. We have made all kinds of arrangements on it. I do know there are a few configurations that won't work but to be honest, we don't follow any plans, we just make our own up. Maybe I'll have DH make one today and take picture so you can see! He'll love this assignment, I think he has more fun than DD sometimes!

ETA - DH had fun, here's a configuration he just made!

It's not that they don't fit, it's that they don't fit if you build following the plan in the box/package. You can always use the track to build a different layout on this table.

THanks for posting the pictures! Your train looks awesome. I will check out the Target set, and I like that you have the Thomas trains too.

Lori - thanks for the info. I am glad I got this table, what a steal!
