HELP!!! Does anyone have any idea how to get diaper cream off my sofa?? It is Desitin. Zinc Oxide based. It is like an oil and nothing liquid seem to cut through it!!

Eek - that is a tough one. Desitin is fish oil based and known for permanently staining cloth diapers (and cloth diaper mommies are known for their stain-fighting abilities!). I'd suggest that you talk to a dry cleaning store; when I spilled nail polish on the carpet many, many years ago, a dry cleaner gave my mom some solvent that actually took it out without damaging the carpeting.

Way back when DD was teeny tiny, I used Desitin when she was in a cloth diaper - big oops! I think it was Beth who recommended using dish soap, and it worked pretty well. I really had to scrub it in. I would spot test in a less obvious place first since some dish soaps contain chemicals that can discolor fabric.

Good Luck!
