I'm considering this for DS for Christmas, but $50 seems steep. For those who've purchased it, do you think it was worth it? How long does it hold your child's interest?

Thanks!

ETA: This week Target's running a sale, so I purchased the Incrediblock for Christmas (or first birthday). Just wanted to update in case anyone else is looking for this on sale!

It does look very fun for our little ones doesn't it? I'm hoping someone can review it!

If you do a search there have been a few reviews of the Incrediblock.

Here's a few threads about it.

Colwyn loves the Incrediblock. I don't know how old your son is, but for Colwyn, it's really grown with him. We bought it when he was just learning to pull up, and it was great for that. Then he got good at turning the "pages" on top, rolling the spinning things, etc. Now he's started putting blocks into the sides for them to drop down.

He plays with it several times a day and hasn't shown any signs of becoming bored with it. My three year old cousin came over the other day and loved it, too.

Absolutely. Sophie's almost 2 and plays with it most of the day.

Thanks everyone! I think I might hold off on this for Christmas and wait for my son's first birthday instead. Maybe it will go on sale between now and then.

Like Colwyn, one of Theo's first elements on the Incrediblock was the "pages" -- he'd play with them for 30 minutes at a shot! (ahhh...those were the days ;) ) He's now moved up to pushing the button for music, opening the big orange door, and pulling the lever to let the blocks drop (but he's not putting the blocks in the dropping slots yet). I agree with the PPs that so far it has grown with my DS and he's got many more elements to master. My only complaint was that when he first started standing and pushing the music button he would push down on the part that goes around in a circle when the music playing and it makes a horrible clicky/grinding noise when that happens. Now that he's figured out that it is more fun to watch it and the blocks on it go around it is much better. It never pinched his fingers or anything, just annoying to mommy and daddy!
