View Full Version : Stylin' bouncy chairs?

I know it's silly but I'd love to register for a vibrating bouncy chair that's not made of some supposedly kiddie-friendly loud fabric (since baby sits in the chair, they can't even see the fabric, can they?). We had a loaner with DS and he adored it so I'd love to have one on my registry for #2 but thought I'd check first to see if there is anything slighly nicer looking out there. I love the look of the Garnet Hill chair but $118 is madness!

I figured if anyone would know, it'd be someone on these boards :)

TIA,

Is there any way you could have someone sew you a cover? I suspect it would be quite simple.

The Combi Activity Rocker is quite nice. We have it in a cranberry colour. It's more expensive, but the tradeoff is that it lasts well into toddlerhood.

Maclaren also makes a rocker that appears to be a solid fabric.

Target has the Baby Papasan, the Chicco Rocker, and the Maclaren Rocker, all of which are slightly less jarring on the eyes:

There' also the Bbay Bjorn Baby Sitter:

For more options, I would suggest you search British children's websites, as they have MUCH simpler equipment. It's just a matter of finding one reasonably priced and with decent shipping (and there's always ebay once you find a brand you like). Here's a few to get you started:

My personal favorite, though I don'w know how well it would work:
