Here's a link to a new ride-on toy by Radio Flyer:

It looks really cute and different from some of the usual ride-on toys out there. I'm curious to know if anyone here has seen it in person or possibly has one for their child. Thanks!

I don't have an answer to this, but I'd like to hear some reviews too! I did see what reviewers on Amazon had to say, and they weren't all positive.

As I suspected this little vehicle may be all about looks and nostalgia. (That's what made me want to get it anyway) My son would really enjoy a ride-on toy and I'm not sure whether to get something with wheels or something that rocks.

We saw this one the other day and he loved it. Not exactly what I want to decorate my house with, but...

can anyone suggest a good rocking toy that a 17 month old can get on & off himself?

I haven't seen it in person, but was thinking of getting it for ds. He loves rockets.

My dad just gave this to DS at Thanksgiving as an early Xmas gift. It really is adorable and the noises are too cute. It lights up and the sound is not too loud or obnoxious. Definitely tolerable. DS is 9 months and loves to push it while sitting next to it, so far. He's not walking yet so I'm sure he'll get more use out of it then.

Our only problem (and it's not a real problem for everyone, just us!) is that when you push one of the buttons, it's supposed to simulate a take-off, so you hear "Lift off!) and then the toy vibrates for a few seconds. Well, DS is TERRIFIED of the vaccuum, hairdryer - anything with that noise. So when he was sitting on it and the vibrating noise started, he panicked. It took him another day or so until he would go near it. For now, we just avoid touching that button.

HTH!

That is so cute. I've been all over their site the last week. I love their "retro" stuff but I'm leaning towards this one personally.

Since we just got DD the Walking Wagon, I guess I just have to wait. :(
