Anyone have the Parent's Magazine magnadoodle?

Ok,I know that's not the correct name but that's what it's like.I was wondering if the Parent's one held up better then the regular Magnadoodles.I like the padded bottom on it.Any opinions?Thanks.

My 19 month old has it and loves it! He likes the four animal magnets and the pen is easy to get in and out of it's slot. But the erase feature is still too difficult for him to do on his own. And even when I erase for him, the ladybug handle sometimes stops in the middle, and won't return back to position unless you force it. I got this brand because it was listed for younger kids than the regular magnadoodle. I've not tried any of the other brands recently, so I don't know how it compares- if the other brands erase easier, I'd consider them. But my son would give it two thumbs up!

Thanks for the review! I was just looking at this the other day in Target. I plan on getting Conner the AquaDoodle, but maybe he can have both :o.

Everything Julie said, to the 't.' I thought maybe I just got a bad unit b/c of the erase feature...I guess that is just how it works. We have had it over a year and it hasn't loosened up. He likes it though.

Mia, at just-turned-two, can't work the erasing ladybug by herself but we don't have the stopping problem with it the PP mentioned. Our challenge was the pen wouldn't come out without adult assistance. Guess she finally loosened it up!

Our Parents brand Doodle has held up to a LOT of abuse - step stool anyone? - and it's still one of her favorite toys.

I *highly* recommend it!
