Amazon.com has the Neurosmith toys on clearance. Is the Musini Magicsensor worth getting? My dd is only 8 mos old but I figure I'll save it for later. I'm confused on the tapes. Which ones should I get? Are they all compatible with the Magicsensor toy?

I'm not familiar with the Magic Sensor, but we have the Together Tunes block and my son LOVES it. He figured out a while ago that when you tap the side facing up the music starts, he likes to pull out the spider on "Itsy-Bitsy-Spider", and it is large enough for him to pull himself up and stand next to it (yet soft, so he won't get hurt if he falls on it). We also have the Jumbo Turn 'n' Learn Ball, but he won't be able to use it until he's older. Between the two, they both use the same cartidges. Check out www.kbtoys.com They had great deals right after Thanksgiving, but the prices went back up. Maybe they will go lower again.

We have Together Tunes also. I'm glad we didn't pay $60 for it (it was a gift), but $20 is an AMAZING deal!

Most of the discount stores like TJ Maxx, Marshalls, Value City and Tuesday Morning have had a bunch of Neurosmith toys for $14.99. I did buy Musini as a gift and also got one for my kids even though they are only 2 since the price was so good. This was a while ago as I remember there was a thread about it, but you might want to check in some of these stores and see if you can find any left. I just bought the Music Blocks at TJ Maxx a few days ago. All were $14.99.

Logan has enjoyed playing with the Musini since sometime before 12 months. (I don't recall exactly when we got it). She doesn't play with it correctly, but she enjoys what she does with it. She taps it when it says to "march around to the hoedown beat" and she dances around when she is supposed to "jump when you hear the piano".

I don't know if all of the cartridges work in it, but you don't need any extra cartridges to have fun with it. I have seen a cartridge that is specifically for the Musini.
