I would like to buy a monitor that allows me to see the baby as well as hear her. Are any of the handheld ones any good?

Also, any experience with nanny cams? I have a babysitter come in once or twice a week and she seems really nice but I keep hearing horror stories about nannies. Should I put up a nanny cam and if so, which one?

I didn't want to spend a lot of money on a video monitor so I got a security camera for $30 from BJs. It's not wireless but it comes with a long enough cord that we can run it from DD's room upstairs to the tv in our room downstairs. You get video and sound from your tv and you can see in the dark also.

As for nanny cam, you need to make sure it is legal to have one in your state if you don't plan to tell the sitter that the camera is there.
