FP laugh & Learn Home - Is my kid too old for this?

I bought this on an impulse - Now I'm not sure if I should keep it or return it. It gets great reviews, but DS is 21 months already - the age range for the toy is 6-36 months. I know from experience that the age ranges on toys dont always mean much..what do you think? Is he really too old for this toy?

My daughter is 17 months old and adores her FP house. I have several friends with 3-4 year olds who bought the FP for their younger children (under 2) and the 3-4 year olds love it, too!

I bought it for my 8 mos. old, but I also have a 2 1/2 year old. I think my 2 1/2 yr old will like it and want to play with it. The only reason I would hesitate to give it to a 21 mos. old is bec it is kind of expensive for the amount of use you will get with it. But if money isn't an issue, than go for it. I figure it will keep my 2 year olds interest for a little while and then he will go back to what he likes best - trains, trucks and cars.
