Does anybody know anything about the sony monitor with rechargable batteries? My parents just bought me one and I want to know if it is good or I should go for a different type. They bought it at BabiesRus.

Thanks,
Talia

I have the Sony BabyCall (27-channel) and I love it. It has great reviews!

Same here :) I registered for it based on the recommendations here. I've had no problems with it picking up my neighbors phones or monitors and I live in a subdivision with homes relatively close together. I also don't have any problem with it interfering with my cordless phone or our wireless router internet connectoin at home.

I have a Sony with rechargable batteries. I am not sure if it is the same one you are talking about but I haven't had any problems with it. You can use it plugged it or if fully charged you can unplug it and take it around the house with you. I usually leave it plugged in at night so it gets a good charge and during Paige's naps I carry it around the house with me. My husband dropped it a few times in the garage (concrete floors) and it still works although it is starting to get a little stadicky but we have been using it for 20 months.
