Hi all-
I'm expecting baby boy #2 in May. Boy #1 is 2, and still wakes several times during the night (don't even get me started on how frustrating this is). We still use a monitor with him, since his sleep is so unpredictable. His monitor stopped working suddenly last night, after 2 years of perfect use... so now we need a new one.
I saw a Safety 1st Home Connection Monitor in the store today, and bought it. It's a great idea: 2 parents' units with rechargeable batteries, and 3 baby's units for different rooms of the house. I bought it and tried it out tonight, but it's very staticky, so it's going back.
So what do most parents of two little ones do? Do you actually have two monitors? Do they have to be different models so they dont interfere with each other? I have to get one now, and while I really like the design of the Safety 1st, I could never live with the static and bad transmission.
Any thoughts would be helpful.
