I'm looking for something to store bath toys. We had one of the small mesh bags, but it's really too small for everything and it kept falling off the wall. Does anyone have either of these:

Trap Door Toy Bin http://tinyurl.com/7ydee

I've also seen the big Sassy Fish that suctions to the wall. Is this any better than the small bags?

Thanks.

I tried a few systems of mesh bags before I gave up and purchased a cheap kitchen dish drainer at Target that clips into the mat under it. Now after my ds's bath he helps me toss the toys in the drainer over the side of the tub. When the water is drained I just set the drainer in the tub. It works great and I don't have to worry about those darn mesh bags falling off the wall when the suction cups give out. HTH.

I ordered the trap door bin several years ago and found it to be so terribly frustrating that I sent it back. I don't know if they've changed the design since then but the stupid thing would stay together well enough for me to get it stuck on the shower wall! GRrrr. I tried and tried and gave up because I don't need those headaches. We use the mesh bags now and they are also frustrating. I'm thinking the dishdrain might work for us...good idea! Off to Target...

Neither of those that you posted look very big.

We have the huge sassy fish (got it from Baby Depot cheap) and it does store a lot of toys. We fill it to the brim and then some and it sticks to the wall fairly well. However, about once a week it falls w/ a really loud thud and scares the heck out of me!

I'm glad someone asked this cause I've been thinking about what to do as well. I like the dish drainer idea, only we'll be moving in with my in-laws in a few months & then we'll be sharing a bathroom. Having a dish drainer in the tub may take up a bit too much space. Has anyone used this from OSA?? Because it's "thinner" it may do the trick. Any comments on it?

We use a Rubbermaid Laundry basket (can only find it by 1.4 bu / 49.3 L description) and store ALL of the bath toys in there. Every day, we pull out a "new" toy or two, store them in the Sassy fish (and duck, if necessary) and later put them all away and start over every week. I think it depends on how many bath toys you have. We have a very large amount and this keeps the fish/duck/any other contraption from sounding the loud BOOM in the middle of the night as they almost always fall over. HTH!
