Anybody have a Tiny Love Symphony-in-Motion mobile?
Can you tell me if this is normal:

I bought mine used and the music and spinning work fine. My DD gets easily distracted with it on her crib and can't fall asleep, so I frequently take the swing arm and spinning arm out. Every now and then the piece with the animals on it that attaches to the curved swing arm falls down. (Not on DD luckily!) This probably wouldn't happen as often as it did for me if I didn't keep removing if from the crib. I don't have the manual; is there a way to lock it? I've tried. Could the locking mechanism be broken? Thought maybe it can't be really locked as a safety guard against kids hanging from it?

My DD's outgrown it and I'm looking to sell it. Want to know if I need to disclose a defect or not.

I have the Zoo one with remote control if that matters.

Thanks in advance!

If I am understanding you right, when you have all the pieces together, sometimes the animal part randomly falls? If that is the case, I have never had it happen and I have had 3 different ones of this mobile.
To answer your question about keeping the pieces intact and using the mobile, you can lift the main rod from the musical part about a quarter inch and have it still locked into place, but the animals won't spin when the music is on.
I hope that makes sense.

I have read several negative reveiws on this mobile. We have one and I'm ready to pitch it. It no longer engages to spin. I've had enough.

Maybe you could call Tiny Love for a replacement? They don't need to know you bought it second hand.
