Does anyone have an existing spreadsheet of items available for Thomas the Tank Engine? I want to start comparing costs and am thinking about putting each item into a spread.

We plan on recommending Thomas stuff as suitable 2nd Birthday gifts for DS..so i want to sure 1) my mom and MIL get good deals (ie: Rag Shop/AC Moore/Michaels w/ 40% coupons) and 2) I keep a decent record of what we already have!

TIA!

I don't but I think if you go to the learning curve website they might have a list of those that are current and have been retired.

BTW, where at Michael's does one usually find the Thomas stuff? I went before Christmas and did a very quick looksee and couldn't find any. Perhaps my Michael's just doesn't carry them.

If anyone has one- I'd love it too!

As for Michaels, there are two within 30 minutes of me and one store has them and the other doesn't. I don't know why. At my Michaels, they are in the far back right corner, near the unfinished wood items... but I think that could be different depending on the layout of the store.

I have one but it is by no means complete. I've also deleted a few items as DS has received them. I've attached it here as an HTML file, (hopefully it looks ok), but if you want the actual Excel file, let me know.

Laura and Julie,
I started filling in some online sites! I will work on it some more today, and then share it if you're interested.

ETA - Julie - what online sites do you use? I am working on www.creativetrains.com and www.trainsgalore.com
They are the ones that I have ordered from before. I can add others if you have some. Thanks!

Here is a thread from last year that lists a bunch of sites that others here have recommended. http://www.windsorpeak.com/dc/dcboard.php?az=show_topic&forum=12&topic_id=26748&mode=full&page=
and the website http://magicref.tripod.com/trains/trainlnk.htm lists a bunch too. I've not bought Thomas online yet, but I bet there are good prices to be had so I want to check it out! Thanks for your work on this!!! :)

Jan:

Please send me what you have! I also have costs from AC Moore...i want to see if their prices, with 40% or 50% off coupons taken into account...are really that much lower than other stores!

I'm done with the online sites and Laura did AC Moore! I emailed it to all who asked earlier today. If you didn't get it, or would like a copy, please email me through the boards.

Thanks!

Thanks Jan. I got the spreadsheet. Looks like the cheapest place to buy them is at AC Moore with the 40% or 50% off coupons.
