Logan loves to clip things together, her highchair, her own stroller seatbelt, etc. I was disappointed to find out that most of the doll strollers come with a D-ring to fasten the seatbelt. There is no way a toddler can work a D-ring! (or can they?)

Has anyone seen a doll stroller that has a regular buckle for the seatbelt? Or does anyone know of a buckle I could get and sew on that would be able to be operated by a toddler? Or do your toddlers learn to work the D-rings?

outdoor/camping stores sell the clips in an assortment of sizes. i would think a sewing & crafting place like joanns or michaels would have them too, but i've never thought to look there.

Joanns sells clips too. Not sure about Michaels though.

DD has not mastered the D-rings yet, but mostly just takes her dolls in and out without adjusting the seatbelt. When I made a shopping cart cover I purchased the seatbelt webbing and clasp at WalMart. The clasp was on the rack with the buttons and other fasteners. Very inexpensive.

DDs Fisher Price one has a velcro fastening on the strap that she can easily fasten and unfasten. I'm still on the lookout for a better quality one with better wheels though.

Velcro sounds good! Where did you find a Fisher Price stroller?

It was $10 at K-Mart, I think I've seen them at TRU as well though. Surprisingly for that price its held up really well, even when someones 4 year old sat in it.

Karen, my mom got AG the wooden doll stroller from PBK for Christmas and it has one velcro strap. She has had a great time putting baby in and taking baby out. Of course, it costs a good bit more than the one from KMart that someone else posted. :) I think it was around $50. It seems very well-made and it's cute, too. I already knew AG liked it because she "test drove" it at the store in Orlando. LOL!

What are the wheels like on the PBK stroller, I'm looking for something with big/and or rubber wheels so DD can have a second stroller to push outside on the sidewalk.

We had this FP stroller, it went to the trash quickly. This was the "little mommy" one, not sure if there is another version out or if this is what the OP is talking about.

The wheels always fell off and the seatbelt didn't stay together well. I read the reviews on amazon and they were mixed, so not sure if I received a bad one or if the quality has changed since the previous good reviews.

The American Girl Bitty Baby stroller has a clip fastener. I think this is what you are talking about. We're had it for over a year. It's played with every day and has held up very well.

My daughter was the same way with the clasps. We bought her this one last Christmas when she was about 18 mths. There is one clasp between the legs. The basket, extra seat for yet another baby (or her purse) have been big hits. But now at 2.5 her favorite feature is taking the seat off and using it as a back pack carrier.

It has the normal crappy cheap tires but I was observing her out on our deck with it the other day (because I read another thead about doll stroller tires) and they work just fine. We use ours inside/outside but on our wooden deck. Rarely in the front where the cement is so I can't say how it will hold up.

This looks great! What brand is it and where did you buy it? I know my daughter would love that second seat for another doll. Right now they ride one on top of the other in the seat. :)

I bought ours from TRU and it was amazon. It's not on amazon now and I haven't been to the store in a while. Worth having to buy it online and paying shipping.
