DH was putting together the train table tonight, and Logan was "helping". She had such fun that now I want to get her a workbench or something with tools that she can screw and wrench etc. Is there such a thing? What is a good one for an almost-two-year-old?

WHile it's not a real workbench, DH found a great toolkit and The Discovery Store.

(Sorry I don't know how to put in a picture of it.)

We gave it to our DS (born 2/03) for Christmas and within days he was using the drill, hammer, tape measure, etc. He LOVES playing with it - including wearing the hat. This was definitely a top present this holiday!

(It says ages 3+, but we supervise DS when he uses it and none of the pieces are too small)

I'm not certain on the brand, but I KNOW they always have kids workbenches at my Tuesday Morning.

We have this one. It's not very tall (maybe 1 1/2 feet), but my son loves it. He uses the tools a lot for various things. He can even unscrew the screws that hold it together. I'm just waiting to walk into the room and see it in pieces on the floor!
