I received a Safety First video monitor as a gift. It recently has stopped working and I am so very bummed. Now that DS is a little older I really like to keep my eye on him while he is in his crib. Anyway, before I have this one fixed, I was wondering if anyone has had a really good experience with another brand of video monitor. I have only been using this one since July so I am really questioning the brand. Any suggestions?

call them and tell them you received it as a gift (make sure that you tell them it's less than a year old, very important) and they will replace it free. YOu will only have to pay the cost of shipping ($5). You will also have to send them the old one, but otherwise it's pretty painless. We had the 2.4 ghz one and they only have a 900 mhz one, so that's the one we got, but it works fine now. good luck.

Thanks for the tip. I will do it tomorrow because I can't stand not being able to see him while he is napping (not)!

My friend had the same problem and she received an upgrade as a replacement.
