View Full Version : What's the age range for Kettlers?

I haven't done any research on them (yet), but wondered how long a child can use one. Most of the kids I see in my neighborhood are riding bikes (with training wheels) by age 4 or 5. I want to get DD a good trike, but the lifespan of it's usefulness may dictate how much I spend. Thanks!

Our son (who will be 4 in July) just got his and I think it will be short-lived for him, but his baby sister will get much use out of it so I saw the expense as an investment. I think once they're ready to pedal, the Kettler is the way to go (as I see all the plastic stuff parked in our patio) and I wish I had bought one sooner. I'm not sure that he'll be ready for training wheels by four, but a year or so is pretty good considering he's had three different trikes now and this is the first one he really uses! HTH
