Here are all the details on the Kettler sale. The vendor is www.sunrisecyclery.com, and the owner/manager (Frank) is giving us a 10% discount on all Kettler trikes / bikes / scooters / Kettcars and Kettler accessories, PLUS free shipping. I don't know if the discount would apply to special orders--you can email or call the store if you're interested.
The CODE: Please PM or email me for the discount code to use at check-out. I assured Frank I would not post it publicly, so after you have it, please do not do so either. The code is good through 3/10/05.
BACKORDERS: The Brummi, the Navigator, and the Air Navigator are expected by the beginning of March (these are backordered almost everywhere, I think, and appear to be in stock on this website but aren't). However, if you order now, you can lock in the price. Your credit card will not be charged till later.
PRICE INCREASE: Frank wasn’t aware of an impending price increase, but two other Kettler-authorized vendors said Kettler International was ordering one as of 2/15. I think prices on most trikes will be raised about 5%, but I couldn’t get concrete figures on anything except the Air Navigator (which will go from $189.99 to $199.99 on most sites). Assuming this price increase IS mandated, Sunrise Cyclery will comply with it. However, Frank said that he will honor the current sale price (even if the item is on backorder now) if you place your order before the increase goes into effect. Bottom line: order by 2/15 if this is an issue for you.

The discontinued Air Jumbos seem to be a hot commodity. If they sell out and you’re unable to get them at this site, the Air Navigator is similar, lacking the handbrake but having additional features (tandem-seat capability, the Navigation rear-steering system, an included pushbar, and adjustable seat). But if you can’t get the Air Jumbo and are set on it, you can probably order it elsewhere AND get accessories from this site. I *think* the 10% code plus free shipping will apply even if you order only Kettler accessories from this site, but no guarantees. You’d have to try it to see.

I checked the Better Business Bureau record for the shop and there were no problems on record (which dates back 36 months). I’d never ordered from them before, but having checked out the website, emailed with the owner, and checked the BBB record, I’m confident in ordering from there. Please be sure you read the website’s policies about returns, restocking fees, etc., for yourself. Sunrise Cyclery is an authorized Kettler dealer; I located them on the kettlerusa.com website.
