Since DH's grandma seems to know everything (catch my sarcasm there?) instead of buying the high chair I wanted, she picked out her own to give me! So thoughtful of her! So I checked BRU and all five people that purchased it returned and bought a different chair. Anyone have any better experience with this chair?

If not and the chair is crap, how do I go about returning it without hurting feelings? DH has already said he hopes that I keep it. To him a high chair is a high chair. Same way with all the other baby stuff I've gotten. Betcha he wouldn't feel the same if it was something he had to use, like his precious tractors! (DH is a farm mechanic, he works on tractors for a living).

Anyway please give me some hope with this high chair!

Thanks
Starla

I would get the one you want. I have been through 3. First was a Peg and I gave it to my SIL after about 2 weeks using it because I hated the thing. She soon passed it on as well. Next step was a Graco. I thought it was OK at first but ended up hating it. It was sooooo hard to clean! I lived with it for over a year and recently went out and bought a Fisher price Healthy Care. I LOVE it! It is easy to clean and very functional. I have a friend who had the Evenflo and she hated it because it was difficult to clean. I've decided that it doesn't matter how expensive or how nice a chair looks if it isn't functional. You are the one who is going to be using the chair every day so get the one you want.
