DDs are 1yo and 3yo. Both DH and I have backache problem so it's hard for us to lift them up all the time.

TIA!!

We bought the Learning Tower when Eva was about 18 months old. From day one she climbed in and out of it herself. At first it made us nervous so we would extend a hand of support. But now we don't even blink and eye as she climbs in and out. There are cutouts in the side of the LT that are big enough for a toddler/preschooler to climb in and out of.

We got ours when Sarah was around 17 months old, I think. She is on the short side and needed some help getting on and off at first, but was a pro within a few weeks. I never had to lift her up onto it - just gave her a little boost. Like Veronica, we were a little nervous at first, but she mastered it quickly.

DS has never had any problem. I think 1 might be on the young side for getting up there completely alone, but by 15-18 months, I think she could do it.
