Thomas has a new video/dvd called "Thomas' Sodor Celebration" and it comes with a very cool wooden GOLDEN Thomas, which became Logan's favorite toy immediately! Here's a site/picture of it http://www.ttstation.com/ttsnew.html Logan really likes the video! It is about 60 minutes long- which is about double the normal videos. There are several train crashes- which really excites him, and Thomas gets fish thrown in his face too- which set Logan into fits of laughter! However, my son did get upset about Thomas getting messy (see my "nightmare" post in the lounge) but that's his personal quirk, doubt anyone else would have that issue. I do want to warn of one segment of the video- there is a Halloween scene that they try to make scary. Logan didn't seem scared- but I could see that some children might. The issue is the trains think there is a ghost. Despite that, I do recommend the video and especially the GOLD limited edition Thomas!! I got it at Target for around $12. And I'm thinking of getting a second one just for another gold Thomas, since I'm sure it will be hard to find a replacement in a few years if Logan lost it.

Thanks, Julie. I saw an ad for this some time ago + I forgot the release date was March 1st. My DS will love this so hopefully our Target has it stocked too! =)

I tried to buy this set at Kmart today ($9.99 for VHS and the golden Thomas), and the person ringing me up said, "Oh, I can't sell this to you. It's not in our computer yet. Come back Monday after it's been released." What's up with that?????? DD was quite disappointed!

That is outrageous! Kmart could kiss my business goodbye, then. As it was, Logan cried when the lady at Target needed it for one second in order to ring it up! :) And I previously said the wrong price- at Target it is $9.99
